This Silicone Putty for making prints and multi-part forms ensures accurate reproduction of sculptural details. The curing time is about 6 minutes at room temperature. By over-or under-dosing of the catalyst paste the curing time can be influenced.
Processing instructions a) Dosage The Silicone Putty is dosed with the help of the measuring spoon provided - wipe off any excess. The dosed amount is spread out on the palm of the hand. Dose approx. 1 cm length of catalyst paste per measuring spoon of modeling clay. (Close the tube tightly after use.) Mixing ratio of silicone putty: hardener paste 11.0 g: 0.3 g b) Mixing Fold the material and knead with your fingertips for approx. 30-40 seconds until a homogeneous light blue color has emerged. Wash hands thoroughly after skin contact. c) Polymerization and hardness The curing time is approx. 6 minutes at room temperature. The curing time can be influenced by overdosing or underdosing the catalyst paste. Overdosing accelerates the hardening process and increases the hardness after the polymerization. Underdosing delays the hardening and increases the elasticity after the polymerization. Maximum over or under dosage: 50%
