Introduction to the basics of Kintsugi technique

The aim of the one-day course is to address priorities of Kintsugi. In a theoretical introduction, materials, equipment, tools and resources that are to be used are presented. It is close to practical demonstrations on the following topics:

• Production of Urushi glue for ceramics and porcelain
• Glueing
• Supplement of lost areas
• Preparation and implementation of the scattering gold technique
  

Our seminars are held directly in the restoration workshop. If interested, please submit us your preferred date with one or two alternate dates.

General information on training opportunities

• Every day during the training is a small free snack and soft drinks provided - lunch at a price of about € 3.00 is possible
• Between the accommodation in Meissen, which must book separately of the participants and the seminar is a free shuttle service.
• After successful completion of the seminar can take the course participant on the basis of his / her telephone rates remain free, telephone counseling.
• Each participant will receive a certificate.
