Properties

- Thermoplastic acrylic resin, middle hard polymer

- lightfast and age resistant, colourless

- Glass transition temperature (Tg) approx. 64° C

Solubility

Permanently soluble in alcohols, esters, aromatics; insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons such as White Spirit

LASCAUX acrylic resin 742 is  both suited to Synthetic resin Glaze and resin for porous ceramics. 

It’s important to empathize the suitability for infiltration gluing of porous ceramics with a certain diluent (for example Ethanol or Aceton).
